What do we do with the information we collect from this website?

When individuals apply to work at emh group, we will use the personal information gathered in our normal course of business, primarily to undertake our recruitment processes such as:

·         to process your application (which includes checks to determine your suitability for the role)

·         to confirm identification when you contact us

·         to keep you informed of any potential roles that we believe might be of particular interest to you

·         to improve and monitor our recruitment service to you

·         for statistical analysis

 

We may check the information collected, with third parties or with other information held by us.  For example we will contact any references supplied by yourself when you applied for the position. We may also use or pass onto third parties (e.g. our occupational health providers).

 

Where required by law we will share your information to aid with prevention and detection of crime and to protect public funds.


What happens to my information if I am successful in my application?

If you succeed in your application and take up employment with us, the information provided will be used in the administration of your employment.  We will need to disclose your personal information third parties where we need to take up references, obtain a pre-employment medical check and/or where a DBS is a requirement for the role. We may also use the information if there is a complaint or legal challenge relevant to this recruitment process. What happens to my information if I am unsuccessful in my application?

Personal Information about unsuccessful candidates will be held for 12 months after the recruitment exercise has been completed, your information will then be securely destroyed or deleted. We retain de-personalised statistical information about applicants to help inform our recruitment activities, but no individuals are identifiable from that data.

 

If you wish to delete any personal information we hold online regarding you then you can use the option to delete your account and data when logged in to the application system.

 

If you would like us to retain your information in a talent pool for future opportunities beyond 12 months then you are able to ‘Opt-In’ on the ‘My Details’ screen.
