The role

As Gas Supervisor you will lead a team of gas engineers to deliver high quality Gas and Renewable Heating maintenance, repairs and replacement services across the East Midlands.  

Effectively managing your team and resources, you will ensure emh homes delivers an excellent standard of customer service to our residents and meet all statutory compliance requirements. Ensuring that work is carried out within agreed timescales and to the required high standard with regards to both Domestic and Commercial Gas services.

Your roll will also include carrying out inspections and quality assurance audits and other surveys. Providing continual updates to the relevant software database with survey and contract outputs, as-built drawings, photographs and certificates.

The ideal candidate

The successful candidate will have a robust knowledge of building regulations, legislation and current practice, and recent experience in a similar role.

You should have proven budgetary control and contract management experience and be able to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads.

Experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective work solutions

Experience of carrying out similar duties maintenance within the social housing/maintenance sector.


You will posses the following domestics gas certificates; CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1.

A City & Guilds / NVQ / QCF Level 3 qualification or have equivalent experience in one or more relevant trades

Travel is required; therefore a full, valid driving licence is essential and a company van is

provided for business use only.
